As the years have gone by, it has collaborated with a collection of prominent designers such as Phillipe Stark, Sieger Design, Phoenix Design as well as Christien Warner.

Although Duravit is widely known for bathroom products today, the brand did not begin to manufacture and design sanitary ware until the dawn of the 20th century. Initially, Duravit manufactured basin sinks, bidets and wall mounted back to wall toilets , but as time went on, the company began to diversify its product lines, designing bathroom accessories as well as its other product lines to include towel rail, toilet roll holders, and Toilet Seats.
Along with product changes, there were also big changes at the top of the organisation. The late 1980s and 1990s were remembered for a number of corporate acquisitions such as "Ceramique de Bischwiller in 1991 and the "MISR TECH" in 1999.And it was with these bold advancements that Duravit's growth only got bigger, establishing subsidiaries in Turkey, India and China.
